Bought A Bunch Of Books

I bought a bunch of books on amazon. Most deal with design, but one, that I started reading this morning, deals with grammar; cognitive grammar. Two things I have learned so far.

  • Grammar isn't arbitrary.
  • Grammar is an extension of our physicalness of speaking on paper.

I wasn't aware of this but I guess professionals , linguists that is, this that grammar and semantics are place on language. Not taken from language.
